Sump pumps have a typical lifespan of 7 to 10 years, and they tend to fail at the worst possible time during the heavy rain event they were installed to handle. If your pump is approaching that age, running continuously, making unusual noises, or failed to activate during a recent wet period, replacement before the next storm is a smarter move than waiting for a flooded basement to make the decision for you. Water Heater Co. handles sump pump replacement in New York, NY efficiently, often completing the swap in a few hours.
We assess your existing pit and discharge setup during the replacement to make sure everything is still correctly configured because soil conditions, drainage patterns, and water table behavior around your New York, NY home can change over time. If the discharge line has shifted, cracked, or is no longer directing water far enough from the foundation, we correct that as part of the replacement. We install quality replacement units and can add a battery backup system at the same time if you don't already have one, giving you protection even when the power goes out.
